The year of Covid 2020 ....... "The gallery exhibits for itself"

Because of lockdown, and shielding the gallery opened at odd times and by appointment for all of this season.

It was rather strangeafter 19 years to have the gallery often shut. I busied myself with rebuilding my brick kiln, renovation, re organizing my studio and thinking. Like many who exhibit in the gallery it was a time for reflection as well as creating in isolation. However it wasn't till mid October that I actually started creating.

I set up the gallery display and so each day it felt as if the gallery was there just for itself. Rather like Santa's workshop when he has gone to bed.... Shirley
