The Murals

| Blands cliff, a steep cobbled street built
in the 1760's by the Quaker merchant John Bland leads from the main town of
Scarborough down to the sea. Professional artists began the project of
painting murals on the walls in 2002 and will be continuing over the next few
years, adding more paintings and sculptural work, helping to regenerate the old
town of Scarborough.
